As mayor of Punta Umbria and, in representation of the neighbours of this village, I am useful to give the welcome to all those who take part in the Worldwide Championship of KickBoxing,which is celebrated in our locality from October 27 to November 3.

Certainly, this municipality supports a special union with all the sports. In fact, we have received in the last year championships of all levels, from regional and national competitions up to tilts of world level, as the past Championship of the World of Veterans' Badminton.

To realize these tilts we have a few facilities of the first order for the practice of multitude of disciplines, at the time that we have a few natural magnificent spaces, in which many sports activities can be realized and of leisure. In this respect, we have in march the project ' Punta Unbria, reference of the sport ', to lift the name of the locality promoting this characteristic, which makes us special.

I wish you a magnificent days of competition and of living together. I advise you to take advantage of the free moments to know the rest of attractions of our town and I emphasize an excellent gastronomy based on products of the sea, cultural activities and of playtime, as well as the hospitable and intimate spirit of the neighbors of this land.
